How much do psychotherapy sessions cost?
Psychotherapy sessions are $200 for a 60 minute session.
Do you accept Medicare Rebates?
Yes, as a mental health endorsed occupational therapist you will receive a $87.25 rebate per session with a mental health care plan, of up to 10 per year.
The fee after the rebate would be $112.75.
Are you able to do online sessions?
Yes, I can also provide sessions via teleconference.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No, you do not. However if you require a medicare rebate, you will need a referral from your GP addressed to me.
Is there a cancellation fee?
If you require rescheduling or cancellation, please let me know 48 hours prior. If not, a cancellation fee may apply.
How do the rebates work?
You are required to pay full fee, however once you receive your invoice from me, you can submit this via the medicare app, and within a few business days, you’re rebate will appear in your bank account.
Are you a psychologist?
No, I am not, and I am unable to diagnose mental health disorders. I do provide talk therapy.
Do you bulk bill?
Unfortunately I do not bulk bill, however if you have a health care card or are in circumstances in which you can not afford full-fee please email me to discuss further.
